Asjai Lou is a trailblazer in the casting industry, celebrated for her ability to discover talent and tell stories that resonate. As a two-time CSA Artios Award nominee, she has worked on hit shows like American Idol, Big Brother, Making the Cut, Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Ready to Love. As part of the casting team for Big Brother Season 23, Asjai was honored to be part of a historical moment as the show crowned its first African American winner, a groundbreaking achievement that reshaped the series’ legacy.
Asjai’s career began in music videos, casting for iconic artists like Kanye West, Mariah Carey, and Kelis, before expanding into commercials for brands like McDonald’s, T-Mobile, Nike, and Coca-Cola—some of which aired during the Super Bowl and Olympics. Her ability to elevate real people’s stories has made her a sought-after expert in real people casting and a driving force in the industry. With her leadership, Asjai Lou Casting is changing the way casting connects with the world.
